| The eWise network service does not charge the consumer. The amount you approve for payment from your bank account is the amount charged by the merchant to whom you are making the payment. There may be additional transaction fees and charges from your bank for making the online payment and you will need to check your bank’s term and conditions. | ||

Your bank log on details are not provided to any third party because you are logging in directly to your bank’ online banking system. Neither eWise network, the merchant or any third party receives or stores this information.
Your bank access details are kept secure because the communication occurs directly between your PC and the bank from which you want to make the payment in the same way as when you log into your institution manually through your browser. There is no third party intervention at all. The eWise network just makes your browser smarter and automates the process for you. |

eWise network does not know and does not need to know who you are. eWise network never has access to your online banking userids and passwords. eWise network is able to provide a confirmation of payment from your online bank to your merchant as well as advising the merchant if the transaction has not been successful. eWise network stores information related to the transaction such as the amount, time, date and the receipt number provided by the banks for a completed payment transaction. This information is used to ensure the integrity of the service and is not used in any way to uniquely identify a user. This information is strictly confidential and all users remain anonymous.
eWise network may store the user's bank account number for audit and refund purposes only. |
